AFVTech is located in Phoenix, AZ. AFVtech  Researches and develops Alternative Fuel Vehicle and Alternative fuel Power solutions. AFVTech is one of the leaders in Retro-fit technology and has applied its technology to various research programs. AFVTech has recently begun the development on a Mid-Size dedicated CNG vehicle platform that will be the most advanced Vehicle Retro-fit that has ever been produced. From the use of Composite materials such as Kevlar(R) and Carbon Fiber, AFVTech was able to prototype innovative ideas in the construction of our test vehicle. This reduces the weight of the installed components, leading to a more efficient vehicle. Preliminary emissions testing of our prototype has shown that we are close to achieving the "Cleanest Internal Combustion Engine", with 137 Grams per kilometer of Carbon Dioxide (CO2) while operating on 100% CNG, and there is a further 33% reduction in CO2 when Hydrogen was tested 70% CNG and 30% Hydrogen. There are dramatic reduction in other emissions such as Nitrogen Oxide NOx, Hydrocarbons HC and Carbon Monoixde CO, over a similar vehicle operating on gasoline.
